Cyberpunk 2077 looks like Deus Ex but on a large scale, according to Digital Foundry

The demo of the E3 2018 of Cyberpunk 2077 has made a lot of talk about itself, although to see it was an opportunity reserved only to the press (including us at Gameshift.it, of course).

The video analysis of Digital Foundry that we show you below does not include, unfortunately, footage from the demo as it is still “top secret”, but allows us to discover some technical details about it and listen to an authoritative opinion about it.

According to Digital Foundry, the game includes the level of detail and density of games such as Deus Ex (both original and recent Eidos Montreal) but on a large scale.

The overall animation is considered a leap forward compared to The Witcher 3, while the weapon management is reminiscent of the Starbreeze and Crysis titles.

The graphics engine has been boosted a lot compared to Geralt’s latest adventure, to the point that Cyberpunk 2077 seems to come from a completely different developer (differently, as mentioned in the video, from the transition between Skyrim and Fallout 4, which also saw their technologies advanced base).

The game will offer a wide range of combat approaches and scenarios, and there will also be something for Mirror’s Edge fans regarding the feeling of freedom of movement.

Finally, it is added that although CDPR is pointing to the current-gen consoles, there is at least a good chance that the game is cross-generational and therefore, considering the quality of what was seen at E3, also proposed on the next PlayStation and Xbox.

We leave you to the complete video analysis below for all the details.
