Ereban: Shadow Legacy is a stealth video game that was supposed to be released on April 10, 2024 on all platforms, including Xbox with a launch on Game Pass on day one, but the release on Microsoft platforms was cancelled.\r\nAfter Enotria : the Last Song which however was not supposed to be released on Game Pass (you subscribe via Amazon), even the developers of Ereban: Shadow Legacy found themselves having to change its release plans.\r\nThe Italian souslike had been for another presented for the first time during an ID@Xbox event but, despite this, Jyamma Games has announced that it wants to leave the Xbox version of Enotria aside, at least for now.\r\nAnd now Baby Robot Games has also made a decision genre, albeit for different reasons announced via social media:\r\n\r\n«Due to our separation from Raw Fury as our publisher», declares the development team, «the release of Ereban: Shadow Legacy on Xbox and Game Pass on Day One had to be cancelled.”\r\nNo further explanations were provided on the matter but, reading the next part of the statement, it seems that it was a decision in which the development team did not fully have control, but is more tied to agreements with the publisher:\r\n\r\n«As gamers who grew up with various Xbox consoles, we were incredibly excited about this release, so it’s disappointing for us too. However, we assure you that we will do our best to bring Ereban to Xbox as soon as possible.»\r\n\r\nWe will see if there will be further updates in the coming days, but the timing of this news comes with a certain punctuality compared to what emerged in recent days at GDC 2024: there are more and more developers and publishers who would like to abandon support for Xbox.\r\nA complicated period for the Redmond house and its gaming division, also looking at Phil’s statements a few hours ago Spencer.
