On the wings of enthusiasm for fundraising beyond all expectations, Platinum Games has big plans in mind for The Wonderful 101 .
The game, which will be remastered for PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, it may even have a sequel, despite the sales of the original chapter being far from good.
“We always think about how we can expand all our games. We want to revisit it now because we have always felt that it was a high quality game that has not been given a fair chance, “ explained President Atsushi Inaba.
The reference is evidently to the platform on which the title was originally made available, Wii U, which had very low sales and which undermined the game’s chances of success.
“As for a sequel or something, we can’t do one if there aren’t fans of the series, first of all,” added Inaba.
“So if fans support this game and things are going really well for The Wonderful 101, then I would say it would be natural enough for us to want to do another game in the series.”
The goal initial set on Kickstarter was set at $ 50,000, while the initiative broke through the million dollar wall: certainly a positive sign.
