The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Switch surprises by comparison with PS4

In the past few weeks we have informed you about the surprise release of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter in a new version for Nintendo Switch.

The horror adventure available from September 2014 on PC, from July 2015 on PS4 and from January 2018 on Xbox One was released only in August for the Grande N. hybrid console.

But how does it compare to other editions? In this video you can watch a head-to-head challenge with the PlayStation 4 release.

On Nintendo Switch, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter runs at 900p in TV mode and 720p in portability, leaving the choice of whether or not to opt for a frame rate locked at 30fps or unlocked (between 35 and 40fps).

It is generally the graphic rendering of the game that strikes, which is very similar to the counterpart in theory for PS4: there is a difference, certainly, especially for the usual “blurred” effect on the image, but the results seem excellent for this port based on Unreal Engine 4.

What do you say?
