The first three years of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain

It was September 1, 2015 when, after years of waiting and tasting offered by Ground Zeroes, gamers could get their hands on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, the last episode of the famous series of Konami directed by the author Hideo Kojima.

The game represented the open world turning point of the series that, taking up the mission structure and some dynamics of handling the soldiers from the previous Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, opened to a gameplay that also involved the search for resources in the field and the guide of the vehicles â € “in addition to the unmissable stealth and combat mechanics.

MGSV has been criticized above all for some unfinished parts of the plot, left literally pending with the suspicion that the divorce between Kojima and Konami has materialized even before the work was finished, and not everyone has enjoyed the management of the plot, surely different taste compared to previous episodes.

Three years later, MGSV remains the last canonical episode of the series, which saw the release of the Metal Gear Survive spin-off.
What is your thought about Venom Snake’s adventure? What did you love and what did not, about the latest work for Konami by Hideo Kojima?
