Netflix, the popular subscription-based on-demand streaming service that hosts some of the world’s most popular TV series, is testing a new feature that is making a lot of discussion.
Some selected users, in fact, are starting to see commercials between one episode and another, which could in the future be integrated for everyone and represent a new method of monetization for the service.
As you imagine, paying users are not taking this chance very well and on social media, even with not really kind words, are making their voices heard. On the prosecution table there is not only the fact that users think that the subscription that pay monthly must guarantee access to the series without the hammering of advertising, but also what the commercials between one episode and the other the proverbial binge watching that characterizes the viewing experience on Netflix.
