It was 17 September 2002 and the first, unforgettable Kingdom Hearts came out on PlayStation 2 consoles in North America.

The game is the first chapter of the eponymous series of action RPGs, born from a collaboration between the then Square Soft and The Walt Disney Company. Indeed, the video game combined the characters and settings of the Disney animation with those of the Final Fantasy series .

The story followed the vicissitudes of the brave Sora, a boy who was caught in an epic battle against the forces of darkness, helped by Donald Duck, Goofy and other classic Disney characters.
