After seeing the wonderful demo of Cyberpunk 2077 that CD Projekt RED showed streaming a few hours ago, many have wondered if that was really the final game, or a portion of the game made ad hoc.
Our colleagues at DualShockers got to talk about recebte with Quest Designer Patrick Mills, explicitly asking him if the demo was really part of the game.
“Yes, it’s part of the game, which is why I do not want to call it a so-called” vertical slice. “What you see here is right from the start of the game.”
Millis made it clear that there may be some differences with the complete title, but the one shown so far is actually what we will play then. The director of the game Adam Badowski then added, via press release:
“What we are releasing today was recorded by the game being developed, and since many of the resources and mechanisms of the current version of Cyberpunk 2077 are more likely to be modified, we initially decided to show this gameplay only to the media. [ …] However, we are also aware of the fact that many of you want to see what journalists have seen even though this is probably not the same game you will see on your screens at launch, we still decided to share this video 48 minutes with you, here’s what Cyberpunk 2077 looks like today … Let us know what you think! “
