We know that Crash Team Rumble, the attempt to make the Crash Bandicoot saga a multiplayer with online brawl, did not have the desired success and quickly reached the end credits.\r\nYet, the numbers of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time suggest that the franchise is reasonably healthy, at least when it remains a single player platformer.\r\nThe news comes from the LinkedIn profile of design director Toby Schadt, who when talking about the game referred to over 5 million copies sold. \r\nA considerable number for a completely new episode (on the same page, Schadt also talks about 10 million for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, which could however leverage the nostalgia effect of the original little dragon trilogy).\r\nWe will now see which will be the future of Crash, also considering the divorce between Activision Blizzard and Toys for Bob. Players still want platforming as the pearl and the numbers seem to prove it.\r\n
