As you surely know, Apple is in the eye of the storm for the story on the old generation iPhones slowdowns-volunteers, which would encourage customers to ponder seriously buying a new model.

Now in France, a group called Halte à l ‘ Obsolescence Programmée (translated as “enough with planned obsolescence”) demanded the maximum penalty for the company, guilty by French law, whichcan have up to two years in prison and a fine of 300,000 euros well (plus 5% of the annual turnover of the company).
