New PUBG study, illustrious assumptions continue

The important assumptions continue for Striking Distance , the new team working on a story-driven video game set in the universe of the famous PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds . After putting famous names from Dead Space and Call of Duty into the line-up, the software house is fleshing out its rose with other veterans who will help bring the project to fruition.

Among these, confirmed the recruitment of visual director Demetrius Leal (who worked on the first two Dead Space , as well as Call of Duty: WW2 , Advanced Warfare and Modern Warfare 3 ). With him also the concept artist Jesse Lee (in turn, Â WW2, Advanced Warfare, Modern Warfare 3, Dead Space ).

That’s not all: the former Telltale artist Robin Chyo joins the team ( Modern Warfare 3, The Walking Dead, Minecraft: Story Mode, Tales from the Borderlands ), along with several other colleagues from the now-defunct company, famous for its narrative graphic adventures. Among them, also the senior artist for scenarios Aasim Zubair ( The Walking Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy, Game of Thrones ) and Zhuosi Xu ( The Walking Dead, Batman: The Enemy Within, Guardians of the Galaxy ).

It goes without saying that Striking Distance is trying to put together a team with a lot of experience that can realize its vision. We will not fail to follow closely the work of this software house, so don’t lose sight of the Gameshift pages.
