Further confirmations arrive for a new foldable iPhone. Previously, we had already told you about the analyst who was sure of his existence, even if the arrival on the market would be scheduled for 2020. Later, we talked about the rumors learned from Bloomberg, according to which the projects are in course but the smartphone will be ready in about three years. Today, further patents have been issued by the Cupertino company, who clearly speak of the idea of ​​a terminal equipped with a hinge on one of its axes, thus allowing it to be folded up on its own. It is not clear, however, at the moment, if this iPhone can also be used folded, or if it will be necessary to “extend” to access the display. The patent dates back to 2016 and is registered with number 9.947.882 at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. It remains to be discovered whether this will actually be the one from which Apple will leave for its chatted iPhone folding, or if the basic idea will be different.
