Konami loses the Champions League, not optimism: positive effects on PES 2019

Two days ago we reported the end of the ten-year agreement between Konami and UEFA, which did not renew the partnership that included, among other things, the inclusion of Champions League and Europa League in the PES series.

Adam Bhatti, a man image of the franchise, commented on the news via Twitter, revealing that the positive effects of the news on PES 2019 will be seen later.

In two tweets, Bhatti explained that the UEFA license bidding “has always been part of the plan, sometimes you have to take a step back in football to move forward.”

“The future is incredibly exciting, it will not be too long before you can see what I mean.”

In another tweet, he added that “UCL did not give Konami any license on the teams, which means: PES will not lose the license on any team due to the end of the partnership with UCL”.

There is “a change of focus” of which “the positive effects will be clearly evident for everyone”.

Considering that we are already at the end of April, we imagine that we will come back to hear about the next PES within a matter of weeks.
