Yesterday we reported on a farewell news Hideo Kojima at Konami but, apparently, things are not so. The Japanese company has in fact denied everything, stating that Kojima is not a member of the team and it's just on vacation. Here is the statement by a spokesperson for Konami: "When Kojima is considered to be an employee of the company. He and the development teamThey have finished working on Metal Gear Solid V and they are taking a long break. Farewell party? We're not sure you know what it was. Work on developing a game console is so long, tiredness and fatigue accumulate … and common that employees will take a long break at the end of work. "Please note that the most recent work done by the two sides, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, is available from 1 September. The other major project, SilentHills, was deleted instead.
