Zelda: Breath of the Wild in 8K (and Ray Tracing) is sugar in the eye

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a game that needs no introduction, being one of the most loved by all Nintendo Switch owners, since the launch of the console.

The Big N will present the news related to the highly anticipated sequel, currently called generically with the title of Breath of the Wild 2 , in the course of 2021.

Meanwhile, one user enjoyed upscaling the first chapter to the truly amazing resolution of 8K , all with the addition of spectacular Ray Tracing lighting effects . The “miracle” was published by the YouTube channel Digital Dreams. You can see the movie in the player below, in all its glory (via GR + ).

Attention, however: according to what can be read in the description, the mod is not played on Nintendo Switch, but via PC emulator . We do not know if a possible version of Breath of the Wild on an elusive Nintendo Switch Pro will one day look like this, but despite everything, dreaming costs nothing.

We also remember that only a handful of days ago the YouTuber Peco was able to exploit a truly unique glitch within Link’s adventure, managing to set a first person view to the inside the main game (with truly unique and surprising results).

The Zelda franchise this year celebrates its first 35 years: the celebrations will officially kick off from next July, that is when the Skyward Sword remaster is released.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 will be released exclusively on Nintendo Switch consoles at a later date.

If you want to enjoy this and other upcoming Mario House titles you will need a Nintendo Switch: you can buy the console at an advantageous price on Amazon Italy.
