We have not much of anything but the short E3 2018 teaser but Starfield, the first new IP of Bethesda Game Studios in 25 years, looks very promising.
To further fuel the flame of the hype we have today, in addition to the unusually enthusiastic statements of the director Todd Howard in the last public appearances, another small, potential clue.
In a new video posted on his YouTube channel, CamelWorks states, as reported by GamingBolt, that he spoke with a member of Bethesda Game Studios and received confirmation of the project’s ambitions.
Specifically, the words used by him to describe Starfield would be: “the biggest leap in gaming history”.
As for ambitions we would be, but we would be curious to know about which field there would be this jump: narration? Exploration freedom? Freedom of choice? In short, the questions remain many.
These statements would however be more or less in line with those of Howard who, as shown in the video below, spoke of the game as “the greatest and most epic science fiction you could ever imagine”.
We trust? In any case, it will be discussed in quite some time, since BGS is not setting time limits for the BGS project and is talking suspiciously of next-gen roleplaying.
