Hogwarts Legacy has rekindled the flame of potterheads from all over the world who already want more additional content, DLC for the video game they’ve been waiting for a lifetime. Which, unfortunately, will not arrive.

The confirmation that the contents already present in the latest video game adaptation of the Wizarding World (which you can find on offer on Amazon) will be for now… the last.

If nothing else, fans will be able to enjoy recreating some scenes from the Harry Potter films through mods, such as the last one we told you about.

Or to discover the darkest secrets of the most famous school of magic in the literature, including those related to mysterious armours.

But they won’t be able to explore new places or meet new characters because, as PCGamesN reports, the developers have confirmed that there are no DLCs on the horizon.

Alan Tew, the director of Hogwarts Legacy, spoke recently in an interview about what the future of the title will be.

For now, there are no plans for DLC, simply because the launch of the game was very busy:

“We’ve been really head over heels in bringing Hogwarts Legacy to life, so there are currently no current plans for DLC. […] It seems a bit surreal, we have been working on it for a long time. But I’m kind of in proud dad mode. I’m really happy with the team, and this has been a true labor of love for the fans.”

For now, therefore, the only additions of the development team to Hogwarts Legacy are the bug fix patches. Or the ones it should fix at least, since the last updates haven’t been optimal.

After all, there is still a lot to discover in the game, such as the easter eggs that players are finding dedicated to other famous video games.

In a game where even bugs can be magical, in a sense, as one player recently discovered.
