The Season 8 of Fortnite promises to be an unprecedented event, a real revolution for the most played battle royale of all times.
The now legendary Epic Games title has indeed become an unstoppable phenomenon over the weeks, as you all know all too well by now.
Whether the recent collaboration saw the official entry of high fashion into the battle royal game, there is no shortage of new features included in the title.
Not to mention, as we revealed a few days ago, the next collaboration could feature a giant of board games.
Now, as also reported by GameSpot , it appears that Epic Games is intent on to bring back an iconic place, a much-loved point of interest (POI) in the original map.
We are talking about the Leaning Pinnacles , a city area so important that for many players the name alone certainly needs no introduction.
Leaning Pinnacles, for the uninitiated, was in fact an area on the classic map of the game, although at the beginning of Season 9 it was replaced by NeoPinnacles .
Leaning Pinnacles was located near the center of the map, more precisely in a corner of the map between Looting Banks and Confused Conducts.
The so-called Tilted Towers (this is the original name), however, disappeared from the game at the end of Season X, when the black hole swallowed the map of Chapter 1.
Since then, players have been eagerly looking for signs and anticipations of his return, sadly unsuccessful – until now.
In a recent blog post on the Fortnite website, Epic has in fact included an artwork showing some characters descending towards the island, while in the background it is possible to unequivocally note the return of the Pinnacles ( find the image above).
All that remains is to wait for an official announcement, perhaps accompanied by a nice release date relating to this (very welcome) return directly from Chapter 1.
Season 8 At the Cube of Fortnite will bring players into a sort of parallel dimension , something already anticipated by a leak that also pays homage to the Stranger series Things .
We also remember in any case that Fortnite ended up on a very problematic blacklist, following the legal dispute between Apple and Epic.
But that’s not all: Fortnite has recently decided to celebrate its fourth anniversary with lots of news and rewards, really not to be missed.
