After the announcement in 2020 all the fans are asking themselves, in a clear way or in their minds: “When is God of War Ragnarok coming out?”.
We don’t have the answer, and we’ll still have to wait to see the sequel of Kratos’ adventure (which you can find on Amazon) released on PlayStation 4.
The latest rumors even gave the title to be released in 2023 , to which Santa Monica Studios had to respond promptly with a communication.
While, recently, it emerged that God of War Ragnarok is even in a stage for which it is playable, with a release which may be placed earlier than expected , according to some.
Well, where are we? When does God of Ragnarok come out? Cory Barlog takes care of giving some information about the game, with a video published a few hours ago.
Through the Twitter profile of Santa Monica Studios , the development team celebrated the release of God of War , which was published just four years ago, on April 20, 2018.
With a video starring Balrog himself, a reminder of the last few years is made and, predictably, a little hint of God of War Ragnarok .
4 years ago, God of War (2018) released! We’re grateful to all of you who joined Kratos and Atreus on their journey, and we’re so proud of the team who worked to bring it to life.
While we’re not ready to share an update about what comes next, here’s a quick message from Cory! pic.twitter.com/Z5PHpKQppY

After recalling the launch of the previous chapter , Balrog talked about the development of the sequel, trying to answer (in vain, we spoil it) to the question above:
“God of War Ragnarok, the elephant in the room, yes. We haven’t said much about it, because everyone is working hard with their heads down. We are perfectionists. […] There is so much at stake now that I can’t wait to show you something, but is not ready to be shown yet. “
The title is obviously at the center of the attention of the whole studio, and the will of Santa Monica Studio is to show God of War Ragnarok at its maximum splendor:
“So hang on, know that something beautiful is coming, and that we are incredibly grateful for all the support you have given us.”
While you wait, you can pass the time as these fans did, who await Ragnarok in a decidedly artistic way.
The title of Santa Monica also appeared in another PlayStation exclusive very important, with a really crazy easter egg.
