The 2018 has now greeted and we find out from the latest reports of GfK / UKIE how sales went from January to December. First of all, to highlight is the fact that the data ( referring to the retail market only , therefore excluding digital sales) speak of a round of money from  £ 770 million in the Kingdom only United, although revenues have fallen by 2.8% over the previous year.
With regard to the numbers of the retail market, video games sold were 22 million, down 7.1% compared to 2017. It would be interesting to see if instead there has been a surge in digital sales to support this small slowdown in the retail market.
