You forgot it, I know and I don’t blame you, but Prince of Persia Remake is still in development and we shouldn’t worry too much.
This is at least what wanted to declare the development team through the public profile of Prince of Persia on X. Today, in fact, a small update for fans has arrived.
Which follows that of last May, in which the team had reassured the community while not giving some relevant news compared to the project that disappeared into thin air.
“Yes, we are still deeply immersed in the game,” Ubisoft begins:

«Exploring, building and making sure that the sands move with a purpose. This game is made by a team that really keeps us, and are putting their hearts (and a lot of coffee) in every step. Thanks for supporting us. “

However, in addition to a new artwork presumably relating to Prince of Persia Remake, there have been no other real updates.
Also because Ubisoft took the opportunity to sponsor another game:

“While the development continues behind the scenes, there is another adventure that awaits you right now: The Rogue Prince of Persia – fast, elegant and built with the same dedication.”

In short, there are many Prince of Persia to play including the one of which Ubisoft wanted to dismantle the team despite the great success in terms of sales.
The Rogue Prince of Persia is actually another internal project, which Ubisoft still keeps alive while updating and preparing for the final release.
