After fashion week, has just ended another event which has monopolized the attention of fans and professionals from all over Italy: the Milan Games Week (@ MilanGamesWeek), the event dedicated to the world of video games from 29 September to 1 Oct.

The 84% of Italian users of Twitter plays on at least one of these platforms. The 59% of Twitter users love to keep up to date with the latest news related to the world of gaming, as well as talk about it and discuss it with friends and colleagues. Not only Italian users are real experts, often challenged by friends and family for advice before buying a game (52%) and passionate players who like to be the first to buy a video game(46%).
In Italy, as mentioned, Twitter users like to play using primarily mobile devices. There is a given in particular: the 52% of users use a Samsung Galaxy (smartphones and tablets) and 37% of users are interested in the topic and virtual reality VR products, considering a revolutionary factor in the field of gaming.
Could not miss also the theme esports: in Europe, 52% of Twitter users is interested in following match andesports competitions, 45% even to participate.
Twitter confirms itself as a primary source of information in real time even for gaming: users throughout Europe, in fact, use Twitter to find and collect information related to your console and accessories (57%) and to discover new games (60%) . As in all sectors that dominate the market, strong is the need to feel part of a community (feeling shared by 60% of respondents):
