It’s always nice to see development teams being born, especially if like Wildlight Entertainment it’s made up of veterans of massive productions like Titanfall and Apex Legends.
In particular, the mech shooter, which you can recover for nostalgia on Amazon, is one of those titles whose failure is a hard injustice to bear.
A franchise which, among other things, seems to have the possibility of continuing with recently canceled unreleased episodes.
A decision that definitively fades the scenario of a possible Titanfall 3, which for a moment had seemed even slightly plausible.
A number of former Respawn Entertainment developers have announced the formation of Wildlight Entertainment, a new development team entering the market.
The workforce is made up almost entirely of developers who previously worked on the aforementioned Titanfall and Apex Legends.
Wildlight Entertainment, which is currently looking for several senior roles to take on, will be led by Chad Grenier, ex-game director of Apex Legends who also served of the work teams of the two Titanfall and the original Modern Warfare, in the past.
Grenier is joined in this new venture by several other former Respawn developers, all of whom have departed from the studio in the past 14 months, as he announced on Twitter :
For the last year, I’ve been hard at work creating a new game studio comprised of some of the most amazing developers from my previous time on CoD, Titanfall, and Apex Legends . Today we get to announce Wildlight Entertainment @WildlightEnt pic.twitter.com/hYRTlj8QfP

Among Grenier’s collaborators there will also be Mohammad Alavi, ex-designer of Modern Warfare and Titanfall who was also linked to the famous game single player deleted, which we mentioned a little above.
Among the other names, always linked to the trio of video games mentioned, there are the lead designer Carlos Peneda, the design director Jason McCord, the art director Jose Zavala, the environmental art director Robert Tuabe, lead technical artist Michael Cook and many others.
We send our good luck to the whole team, as Electronic Arts continues to cancel or shut down games including an Apex Legends
