There’s a horror movie halfway between Resident Evil and… Final Fantasy VII, and you can try it for free

Steam Next Fest started a few hours ago and, exploring its offering, one of the most curious titles is undoubtedly Crow Country, a vintage horror inspired by Resident Evil with an aesthetic inspired by the original Final Fantasy VII.\r\nLo The cube-like style of the PlayStation video game (which you can recall in a special package on Amazon) seems to marry very well with the mechanics of a horror video game, or at least that’s what SFB Games, the development team, thought.\r\nCrow Country , which you can peek at on the Steam page, channels the atmosphere of the classic Resident Evil , the one made of grainy textures and 90s graphics, with characters created as if they were the protagonists of the contemporary Final Fantasy VII for PlayStation.\r\nThe title is set in 1990, just to fit in the nostalgia, and sees players exploring a mysterious and disturbing amusement park in search of its owner, Edward Crow.\r\n\r\nThis is how the title describes itself: \r\n\r\n«The year is 1990. Two years have passed since the mysterious disappearance of Edward Crow and the sudden closure of his theme park, Crow Country. But your arrival broke the silence, Mara Forest. If you want answers, you will have to venture into the depths of the darkness of Crow Country to find them…”\r\n\r\nIn the demo downloadable from Steam you can try a portion of one of the game levels, in which you can experiment with the possibilities offered by the horror adventure, complete with control scheme \
