The remake of a classic RTS Square has a date, and you can try it for free

Forever Entertainment and the developers of Storm Trident have announced in these hours that Front Mission 2: Remake will also arrive on PS5, Xbox Series \nThe series, which you can also find on Amazon, is in fact one of the best known when it comes to mech-based real-time strategies.\r\nIn our review of the remake of the first chapter we explained that «Front Mission 1st Remake reveals a niche product as much as the original, unfair in the level of challenge, fascinating in its setting and story and not inclined to open the franchise to any new generation, who would do well to first try many better congeners in terms of learning curve and audiovisual presentation.»\r\nAs also reported by Gematsu, Front Mission 2: Remake will be sold at the price of 34.99 euros starting from next April 30th.\r\nBut not only that: starting today, April 5th , a free demo of the game will be made available on Steam, which you can download at this address.\r\n\r\nThe official description reads:\r\n\r\n12 years have passed since the Second Huffman Conflict. After the end of the war, the poor People’s Republic of Alordesh suffered a serious economic crisis.\r\nIn June 2102, soldiers of the Alordesh army rose up, led by Ven Mackarge, declaring the country’s independence from OCU (Oceania Cooperative Union).\r\nAsh, an OCU soldier, manages to survive the ensuing battle, but Alordesh is completely occupied by the Revolutionary Army.\r\nAsh and his surviving teammates search thus to make his way through the chaos of Alordesh in an attempt to leave the country. However, they very soon discover that a huge conspiracy is hidden behind the coup.\r\n\r\nFront Mission 2: Remake will therefore be a remake as faithful as possible to the original game released way back in 1997, which will preserve the mature story, strategic turn-based combat, the ability to customize the wanzers and all the other elements that made the classic famous, while updating the graphics and adding new features and some improvements.\r\nSpeaking of other classics that are about to return, it seems that even a famous JRPG is about to be dusted off by Square.
