After the end of the war, the poor People’s Republic of Alordesh suffered a serious economic crisis.\r\nIn June 2102, soldiers of the Alordesh army rose up, led by Ven Mackarge, declaring the country’s independence from OCU (Oceania Cooperative Union).\r\nAsh, an OCU soldier, manages to survive the ensuing battle, but Alordesh is completely occupied by the Revolutionary Army.\r\nAsh and his surviving teammates search thus to make his way through the chaos of Alordesh in an attempt to leave the country. However, they very soon discover that a huge conspiracy is hidden behind the coup.\r\n\r\nFront Mission 2: Remake will therefore be a remake as faithful as possible to the original game released way back in 1997, which will preserve the mature story, strategic turn-based combat, the ability to customize the wanzers and all the other elements that made the classic famous, while updating the graphics and adding new features and some improvements.\r\nSpeaking of other classics that are about to return, it seems that even a famous JRPG is about to be dusted off by Square.
