Cyberpunk Edgerunners was a great success that expanded the CD Projekt Red universe through beautiful animation on Netflix, and now comes a prequel manga that will tell the story before those episodes.\r\nCD Projekt Red itself announced it on social profiles, introducing the launch of this manga published by Kadokawa which, at the moment, will be dedicated only to Japan.\r\nCyberpunk Edgerunner Madness, this is the name of the manga, tells the story of Pilar and Rebecca as young people, offering a glimpse into their past with a completely original plot. The manga is edited by Asano, an author known for his work on the comic version of BNA: Brand New Animal. \r\nAn unmissable opportunity for all Cyberpunk Edgerunners fans who want to delve into the world of these iconic characters.\r\nAll while waiting for a second season of Edgerunners, which has been so loved that it wouldn’t even be strange if Netflix could go back to telling these characters. In any case, CD Projekt Red and Netflix have already made agreements for a new show, and who knows if it might be Cyberpunk Edgerunners season 2 or something new.\r\nThe first chapter is already available for free in Italian starting from December 13th on all major ebook platforms. The subsequent chapters will be published monthly in simul release with Japan thanks to Panini Comics and its Planet Manga editorial line. However, unlike the first chapter, the subsequent ones will be available for free only until the release of the following chapter, thus keeping the public’s anticipation and curiosity high.\r\nAnd if you really can’t do without it, Lucy will still do her part appearing in Guilty Gear Strive in the near future.\r\nThe Cyberpunk comics already published in the USA have also arrived in Italy (and you can find them on Amazon), it is likely that Kadokawa will be able to find an agreement with the distributors international.\r\nSpeaking of Kadokawa, we will also see if an agreement will be reached with Sony regarding the merger between the two companies.
