The Pokemon Company attacked a YouTuber for a 7-year-old video

If you have created pocket monster-themed content, be careful, because The Pokémon Company is having a gotta catch ‘em all with anything that concerns Pokémon but is not official, even YouTube videos from 7 years ago.\r\nAs reported by My Nintendo News In fact, a Call of Duty content creator (the irony) was hit by a manual strike for copyright infringement on a video published seven years ago.\r\nThis is not an automatic report dictated by the YouTube algorithm , but of an intervention by The Pokémon Company itself which searched for and reported the video to the video on demand platform.\r\nThe content creator published the copyright strike received on social media, also warning all other content creators themed Pokemon.\r\n\r\n”If your videos feature any type of modified Pokemon content, I would delete/unlist it as soon as possible,” reports the YouTuber.\r\nThe content creator had posted a video of a mod for the Zombie mode of Call of Duty in which the undead to be filled with lead were the creatures of The Pokémon Company.\r\nThe company then requested the removal of the video with a copyright strike. At the third strike, moreover, any YouTube channel is suddenly closed with no possibility of reply, or at least very few.\r\nIt is certainly no surprise that The Pokémon Company is so zealous, and just recently we saw it with a modder which inserted the Pokémon into Palworld (wonderful short circuit), but in this case we are talking about a video from 7 years ago which the company, moreover, manually searched for in order to report it.\r\nRegarding this case, the indirect pressure that The Pokémon Company generates has led some Japanese companies that manage talent to ask their members not to mention Palworld in any way.
