Dead Space was a great survival horror, which for years was one of the scariest games in the genre.

Even before the recent remake (which you can find on Amazon) which brought back the glorious Electronic Arts title.

And who recently did it again recreating one of the most emblematic trailers of the original, in an attempt to strike you at the heart.

After all Dead Space Remake is was last January’s game, proving in general to be a very successful title. But there are those who still dedicate their hearts and souls to the original.

But how does Dead Space become even more terrifying? With first person mode, as reported by Wccftech.

PC modders have designed a mod for the version of the original game of 2008, designed to totally change the gaming experience and make it even more disturbing.

The mod, which is always on NexusMods, allows you to play Dead Space totally in first person.

And the effect isn’t bad at all:

Reverse Engineering, the group of modders, comments that the mod was conceived as a “homemade project for fun out of boredom” and you can already download it to relive Dead Space in an unprecedented way.

On the move the effect is really good, even if in-engine movies probably don’t benefit much. Additionally, the modified camera perspective completely hides Isaac’s stats, weapon ammo, health, and other miscellaneous details.

The user experience isn’t the best, but maybe it’s also a way to make Dead Space even more lethal and magnetic.

If you want Motive to work on more remakes all you have to do is say so, sort of. Electronic Arts is in fact sending surveys to understand the wishes of the players.
