Today CD Projekt RED finally released the next-gen update of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, bringing back the great classic fantasy.
The masterpiece released in the past generation, which you can also find on Amazon, has in fact been re-proposed on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as on PC, with all the necessary improvements.
In our review published a few days ago, we explained to you that the game “is still today a majestic and enjoyable action RPG, capable of dragging you among the horrors of the Continent to never want to leave. Taking on the role of Geralt in this next-generation port allows you to experience the entire package from start to finish at its best.”
Now, while some have found some technical complaints, it appears that The Witcher 3 regained an important record, to the “damage” of Elden Ring, namely that of best open world RPG out there.
As Games Radar also reported, The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt – Complete Edition for PS5 currently boasts a score of 97 on Metacritic em>.
This very high score means that the CD Projekt game has actually surpassed the equally famous Elden Ring, thus becoming once again the best open world RPG available.
Geratl’s adventure is currently ahead by a hair, as FromSoftware’s latest souls stands at 96. The PS4 and Xbox One versions of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt scored 92 and 91 respectively, surpassed by Elden Ring at launch.
Even the PC version of The Witcher 3, which achieved a very respectable 93, was therefore beaten in the margins by the title From.
Remaining on the subject, as reported in the past few hours, the Polish development team explained the reasons that make the PS5 version of the game unique in its own way.
