> Sony has announced that The Last of Us Part II has sold over 4 million copies in its first three days of availability. Thanks to this result, the Naughty Dog action adventure beat the first three days of God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man , respectively stopped at 3.1 and 3.3 million copies.
«We are pleased to report that The Last of Us Part II is now the exclusive PS4 sold faster than ever », reads a note published on the PlayStation Blog.
The figure covers the first three days of availability of the title, that is Friday 19, Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June , and it should be updated soon with figures on longer periods.
« This milestone would not have been achieved without the support of our incredible fans, so thanks to everyone in SIE! », concludes the post, before leaving the floor to director Neil Druckmann.
The result is not particularly surprising, if we consider that the European pre-orders were in line with those of Marvel’s Spider-Man until May.
