The wait for The Game Awards 2024 is becoming more and more intense, and the statements of Andy Robinson, boss of VGC, have further ignited curiosity.\r\nWith a tweet that promises a «VERY big» event and which underlines that these are not suppositions, expectations for the December 12th event are sky-high (via Wccftech).\r\nAlthough 2024 did not shine in terms of the number of significant releases compared to the 2023, 2025 promises to be an extraordinary year for video games, with flagship titles such as Death Stranding 2: On The Beach and Grand Theft Auto 6 (find the predecessor on Amazon).\r\nThe list of expected games is impressive, but Robinson seems to be referring mainly to revelations of titles of which we have not yet seen anything.\r\n\r\nThis category could include games such as the mysterious BioShock 4, Marvel’s Wolverine, Monolith’s Wonder Woman, or even new projects never announced before.\r\nThe Game Awards is not just a show dedicated to announcements: it is also an opportunity to reward the best titles of the year. \r\nRobinson’s promise, combined with The Game Awards’ track record as a platform for global announcements, suggests that the show could offer more than just updates on already known games.\r\nThe hope is to see significant reveals that define the panorama of 2025 and beyond.\r\nAppointment on December 12th (13th night with us), at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The community is already ready: all that remains is to find out if the promises will be kept. \r\nMeanwhile, VGC has also recently compiled a list of which game would win each category of The Game Awards if the result was based on the Metacritic score.\r\nFinally, I also remind you that while waiting for The Game ceremony Awards 2024, now you can choose your winners with the Player’s Voice award.
