Fire Emblem Engage as always, uses voice actors who give life to the protagonists and co-protagonists. Unfortunately, however, the protagonist of the Nintendo Switch title cannot play the production for which he lent his voice.
The latest episode of the beloved strategy saga, which has arrived on Amazon, has revived the franchise that has found a new life in recent years.
A title that has represented, since its announcement, a celebration to the fans of the Fire Emblem saga.
Feeling that we confirmed once we tried the title, as we explained in our review from a few weeks ago.
While fans can enjoy Fire Emblem Engage, its protagonist can’t do it… and Gamestop
Brandon McInnis, voice actor who played the game’s protagonist, told on Twitter that he was unable to purchase a copy of the game due to an error on the part of the well-known chain.
Gamestop has in fact taken pre-orders for the deluxe edition of the game, but without having the guarantee of being able to satisfy the requests for customers:

A frustration from a true enthusiast, which also reveals the fact that McInnis was not given a copy of the game by Nintendo, as often happens in these cases.
The actor himself wasn’t looking for special treatment, but just wanted to play Fire Emblem Engage like any other player.
After the mishap with Gamestop, McInnis managed to get his copy of the game but, as he later recounts on his profiles, he turned to eBay .
A bad blow for the chain of stores which, after the recent layoffs also in the NFT sector, are not doing well.
