The Last of Us is definitely an absolute milestone, one of the most important games to appear on the PlayStation console.
The adventure of Ellie and Joel, and to an even greater extent the sequel, is a truly unique and unmissable experience, with a storyline and characters that will remain impressed for a long time.
After all, the first episode of the series developed by Naughty Dog will soon become an HBO TV series that promises to be very faithful to the original game.
Not to mention that, just these days, someone has created an amazing PSOne version of The Last of Us , which has plenty of charm (despite the obvious technical limits).
Now, without notice, Saber Interactive has announced A Quiet Place , a new horror video game set in the same universe where the events of the films of the same name directed by John Krasinski take place.
The Canadian studio iLLOGIKA (also made up of former Ubisoft employees) is responsible for developing the tie-in, in collaboration with the US software house EP1T0ME.
From the first information released, the A Quiet Place game will be a single player horror with a strong narrative component , with a first teaser trailer which should be shown very soon.
The game’s release is generically set for next year, although at the moment there is no more precise date.

Curious how the two A Quiet Place films – released respectively in 2018 and 2020 and produced by Paramount Pictures – are not too covertly inspired by the atmospheres of The Last of Us .
In a post-apocalyptic world, a family lives in silence to hide from enemies without sight but with particularly sensitive hearing (very similar to the famous Clicker of the game Naughty Dog).
The slightest whisper can lead to death, which forces survivors to fight for their lives in a world that sees humanity at the end of its journey.
You have also already read that just in these days a player has tried to “change” the ending of the first TLOU , although the feat has been resolved in a decidedly unpleasant way.
