Dark Souls 3 is undoubtedly one of the peaks of the soulslike genre, and Dark Souls Archthrones promises to satisfy those who want more.
Putting aside for a moment the recent and notable Elden Ring (of which you can buy the Launch Edition on Amazon) FromSoftware’s dark fantasy series is about to receive a prequel made by fans, for fans.
It is also true that in recent months another enthusiast had decided to dust off the third chapter of the saga, creating a real DLC from nothing, full of contents never seen before.
Now, after the fan project showed itself in all its beauty a few weeks ago, it is the turn of a new and long gameplay video taken from the project.
As also reported by DSO Gaming, the modder team behind the Dark Souls 3 prequel mod, Dark Souls Archthrones, has released a new video showing 15 minutes of gameplay.
In Dark Souls Archthrones, players will be able to access the five worlds through the Nexus of Embers, encountering numerous bosses and various allies never seen before. In addition, the mod will have a revisited version of Lothric and other iconic locations from the Dark Souls lore.
Just below, the long gameplay video in question:
It is also worth noting that Dark Souls Archthrones will contain elements from another great classic such as Demon’s Souls.
But not only that: the development team also plans to add many new enemies, NPC quests and various secrets to find, as well as the fact that a playable demo of Dark Souls Archthrones is expected later this year, so stay tuned for more.
Staying on the subject, TeaserPlay has brought to life another amazing trailer for Dark Souls 4, made using the power of the Epic graphics engine.
But that’s not all: the British division of PlayStation recently teased fans of Bloodborne with a shot that leaves little room for imagination.
