Super Mario Odyssey received the Platinum recognition for the month of November by the BIU, the Association of German industry, which means it has sold 500,000 copies between 200,000 and in Germany.
Being released only for a console, Nintendo Switch, this is a very significant achievement.
Especially if we consider the overall ranking (shared on the forum ResetEra) for the German soil, November:
Call of Duty:WWII (PS4) > 500 k
Assassin’s Creed Origins (PS4) > 200 k
Gran Turismo Sport (PS4) > 200 k
Super Mario Odyssey (Switch) 200 k
Call of Duty: WWII (XB1) > 100 k
F1 2017 (PS4) > 100 k
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War (PS4) > 100 k
Need for Speed: Payback (PS4) > 100 k
Splatoon 2 (Switch) > 100 k
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (PS4) > 100 k
The only three titles that have sold the most are multiplatform version PS4 productions, a console that has an installed base of far superior to the current Switch.
