Super Mario Odyssey will not include unlockable content exclusively using the amiibo.

The confirmation comes from the GameReactor.eu page, which reveals how all unlockables can assist you during regular gameplay.

Among these we find elements such as temporary invincibility and costumes for characters but the amiibo will only benefit them immediately. For the rest, there will be no benefits whatsoever.Nintendo hasn’t clarified what are some ways you can get these bonuses, but one thing is for sure: you have to play and keep playing for them, regardless of the figures of the House of Kyoto.

Good news for those who are awaiting the arrival of Super Mario Odyssey, waited for the next 27 October only on Nintendo Switch.
