Last July, Valve announced Steam Deck , a new portable console produced by the American giant, which is likely to compete for the best handheld platform of the decade.
Born as a sort of “response” to the dominance of Nintendo Switch, the console offers the possibility to play triple-A and indie titles in total autonomy.
After all, the list of incompatible games is quite long, so much so that there are also various multiplayer titles that certainly need no introduction.
It is also true that the platform will have access to all Steam titles and therefore also to the exclusive PlayStation available on PC, so much so that now a big PS4 has shown itself live on the console.
Shuhei Yoshida , Head of PlayStation Indies, has in fact published a photo on his personal Twitter profile of Steam Deck, while it is shooting a game well known to owners of PlayStation consoles.
It is in fact Horizon Zero Dawn , the first chapter of the Guerrilla Games series, which apparently is perfectly compatible with Steam Deck.
Yoshida has therefore in a certain sense reassured all players who want to live – or relive – the adventure starring Aloy on the Valve laptop.

We’ll see if, in motion, Horizon Zero Dawn will be just as impressive to watch (and, of course, to play as well).
Valve said months ago that the performance level it aims for is a native resolution of 800p and an average frame rate of 30fps , making it more in line with previous generation consoles than today’s PC games.
Steam Deck will be available from € 419 for the 64 GB model , followed by that from 256 GB for € 549 and finally that from 512 GB for € 679 .
Recall that a few weeks ago Epic Games also expressed their appreciation for the console, calling it a “big move”.
But not only that: Steam Deck may have problems running games with Easy Anti-Cheat, but that the developers of the different titles will have to make the related updates to make sure that it does not there are problems.
