Good news, farmers: during the day today, Eric “ConcernedApe” Baron, creator of Stardew Valley, announced that the multiplayer patch of the game is now in QA (quality control) for the Nintendo Switch version.
Also through the post on his official Twitter account, Barone also added that he will make further announcements “as soon as more concrete information becomes available”.
The multiplayer will allow a maximum of four users to go through a farm and contribute to all the basic features of a regular farm, such as digging and fighting.
Among the curiosities there is the possibility of becoming rivals in love with a friend as well as getting married, creating a wedding ring. The same update will introduce, among other things, a new level of higher difficulty and a chat box, complete with emoji, to help with communication.
