Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was formally announced last Saturday for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, platforms on which it will arrive November 15, 2019.
Although there were no clarifications in this regard, these will be the only supported platforms, at least in a launch phase.
So, predictably, we won’t see an announcement sooner or later for Nintendo Switch, with the hybrid of the Grande N going ahead in its ‘case-by-case’ relationship quite limited with Electronic Arts.
This was confirmed by one of the heads of the EA Star Wars community, Jay Ingram, on Twitter, explaining that as much as Switch is incredible, there are no plans “ for an ad hoc version .
We could have had a glimmer of hope due to the use of the Unreal Engine 4 graphics engine, supported by the console, instead of the more complicated Frostbite, which Switch still does not ‘chew’.
But apparently, hopes for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order lasted very little.
As amazing as the Switch is, no such plans.
