It’s raining in the wet in House Electronic Arts and DICE. Star Wars Battlefront II is finished being investigated in Holland because of its microtransactions potentially similar to gambling.

A Commission is considering the topic even in Belgium, as we have reported in recent days, including in reasoning also Overwatch.

The problem lies in the fact that in these countries need a special license to sell contentrelated to the “gambling” license that clearly the publisher EA has acquired.

In his absence, should ensure effective law infraction, the Publisher would risk a big fine or even the withdrawal of the product from the market.

We don’t know, at this point, if the temporary removal of microtransactions will be enough to avoid a situation like that.
