Square Enix’s new JRPG will soon be available for free trial

Square Enix is about to release a demo for SaGa Emerald Beyond, as announced by the Japanese company itself.\r\nLeaving aside titles such as Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, available from last April 29th on PS5 and purchasable on Amazon, fans will also have other games to pay attention to.\r\nAs also reported by Nintendo Everything, fans will be able to play the SaGa Emerald Beyond demo from midnight local time on April 4th on PC, PS4, PS5 and Switch.\r\nSwitch owners will be able take on the role of Ameya Aisling, one of the protagonists of the game.\r\nWhile, on the other hand, the demo on PS5 and PS4 presents Tsunanori Mido, just like the Steam version focuses instead on Diva No. 5.\r\nIt must be said also that progress from the demo can be transferred to the full version. The game description reads:\r\n\r\nSaGa Emerald Beyond, a new independent chapter in the SaGa series, brings together the best elements of the beloved series to offer every player a unique experience.\r\nUse Glimmer and combos in combat; discover a cast of diverse races, including monsters, mechs and vampires; experience a story all your own, created by your choices and actions.\r\nReach 17 different worlds from the Junction, being guided by the hand of fate and following a path traced by your choices.\r\nDiscover completely different cultures and scenarios, like a dense forest of skyscrapers, a lush green habitat covered in vegetation, a world ruled by five witches and one dominated by vampires, just to name a few.\r\n\r\nSaGa Emerald Beyond will launch on consoles and PC next April 25th this year.\r\nSticking on the topic, another of Square Enix’s old JRPGs is about to be remastered on the occasion of its 25th anniversary: we are talking about SaGa Frontier 2.\r\nFinally, we also remind you that one of the unreleased chapters of the SaGa series for the West, namely Romancing SaGa 3, landed a few months ago on PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. In our review of the game we explained to you that “a reviewable difficulty balance and the obscurity of many passages do not make it particularly recommended for newcomers to the genre.”
