During the night of The Game Awards, it was officially confirmed that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade by Square Enix will no longer be a PlayStation exclusive, but will also arrive on PC .
Gamers with personal computers will soon be able to enjoy Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade , expected on the Epic Games Store very soon
The first part of Cloud and his companions’ adventure, released last year on PS4 and this year on PS5, will arrive on December 16, 2021 .
Although the requirements to run the game (and weight) are high, a problem has emerged in these hours that is causing PC gamers to discuss a lot.
When publishers started pushing for higher prices on current-gen console games, it was clear or that this increase would someday also come to PC .
And, apparently, Square Enix is the first publisher to have raised the prices of its PC games up to as much as 80 euros , as reported by DSO Gaming .
As we can see, both Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Forspoken will be priced at exactly 79.99 euros (for the Digital Deluxe Edition of Forspoken you will even have to shell out 105 euros ).
Of course, it remains to be seen whether the paying public will like this real “surge” on the list prices in the various stores.
At the end of last year the idea of a price increase had in any case also touched Sony, while Microsoft confirmed that it would be discussed later.
The arrival on PC confirms in any case Square’s desire to focus strongly on the universe linked to the seventh chapter of the franchise, given the mobile release of The First Soldier ( you can find our review here).
If you want to rediscover the original chapter, on Amazon you can buy the Twin Pack with Final Fantasy VII and VIII Remastered at a special price.
