CI Games has announced that Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has passed the milestone of one million copies sold.
The milestone has been reached in a fairly turbulent manner, as is known, since the development team has been significantly reduced following the negative reception by players and critics.
Despite this, the CEO of the Polish studio Marek Tyminski, the atypical shooter “has managed to have relatively successful”.
“The decision to reduce the size of the studio was the most difficult that I have taken in the past years, it is never easy to let go of friends and colleagues with whom we have worked for years, but I really think it was the best way to move forward”.
With this move, the Polish software house was able to start work on an unannounced tactical shooter and on Lords of the Fallen 2, for which they are looking for partnerships like the one with Deck13 which at the time allowed the soulslike series to be born.
