Silent Hill is one of the most famous horror saga ever, after its debut on the first PlayStation console in 1999.

Unlike the Resident Evil franchise, which apparently still enjoys excellent health, the Konami series has sadly been made dormant by the Japanese publisher.

In fact, fans have been waiting for a new episode for years, despite the fact that nothing is known about it yet (although the rumors circulating about an elusive remake have been chasing each other for months).

While waiting to find out if and when the series will return to the scene, via Reddit the fans have compiled the list of the various chapters of Silent Hill , arranged in the exact chronological order of the events (therefore, not according to their release on the market).

Just below , the list in question:

• Silent Hill
• Silent Hill 2
• Silent Hill 3
• Silent Hill 4 The Room
• Silent Hill Homecoming
• Silent Hill Downpour

As also pointed out in the comments of the original post, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (released for Nintendo Wii and PSP consoles) is considered non-canon, actually telling a story not belonging to the original Konami lore.

Below, however, you will find the list of the various main chapters based on the order of output:

• Silent Hill 3
• Silent Hill 4
• Silent Hill Origins
• Silent Hill Homecoming
• Silent Hill Shattered Memories
• Silent Hill Downpour

The lists obviously do not include P.T./Silent Hills , the game by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro that sadly never saw the light.

As you know, the project was in fact brutally canceled following the breakup between Kojima and Konami, but over time became a real cult among the orphaned players of this relaunch of the franchise by the father of Metal Gear Solid .

But not only that: Konami will not participate in E3 2021, given the Japanese company has decided to skip the appointment (and with it, the possibility of an announcement of a new chapter of its horror series) .
