Silent Hill 2 remake should be “finished”

Silent Hill 2 Remake by Bloober Team was announced over a year ago, although apparently the work is about to come to an end.\r\nThe Konami horror saga, which you can find on Amazon in a themed collection, will in fact receive the remake of the historic second chapter.\r\nMany thought that the release date would finally be revealed, but in 2023 there was no news.\r\nAfter responding to rumors according to which the PS5 remake of Silent Hill 2 would have been canceled, it seems that Bloober is putting the finishing touches on the game.\r\nAs also reported by Wccftech, the remake of Silent Hill 2 is probably complete and in the finishing phase, since the developer seems to be focusing on other projects.\r\nAs reported today on the ResetEra forum by insider Dusk Golem, the Polish studio shared an update this week that revealed how it is shifting its focus to the Skybound project and how it has received funding for a project based on Unreal Engine 5 (provided certain goals are met). \r\nFor this reason, new hiring positions have been opened and resources and employees have been moved to these projects.\r\nAccording to the insider, this means that the Silent Hill 2 remake is most likely complete at the level of contents and in the closing phase, managed by a small team.\r\nAlthough the release of the game depends on Konami, the launch could certainly take place this year, if the publisher decides to do so.\r\nLast November , Bloober Team stressed that keeping users informed about the game is Konami’s job, although it was said that development was proceeding smoothly.\r\nThe Silent Hill 2 remake will launch on PC and PlayStation 5 on a release date yet to be confirmed. We’ll keep you updated on the game as soon as we can, so stay tuned for all the latest news.\r\nFrom what we know, a Steam update has revealed that the game will come with 12 Trophies, although this may change closer to launch. \r\nWe therefore hope in any case to know more soon, hoping that the game does not end up like the mediocre interactive series Ascension, which did not find the approval of the fans.\r\nWithout also considering that other remakes dedicated to the Konami horror series may be in the works.
