David Anfossi, boss of Eidos Montreal, unveiled during a recent interview that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will shoot in 4K and 60 frames per second on Xbox One X.
The statement, entrusted to the YouTube Electric Playground channel, was actually quite vague, not going to spell out whether it will be 4K native or variable frame rate.
In any case, according to Anfossi, the Canadian studio is working on a new rendering and lighting system designed specifically to get the most out of Microsoft’s high-end console.
In addition, however, the base consoles will not be mistreated, since the software house manager is convinced that the Xbox One S version will enjoy the most spectacular game, from a visual perspective, never launched so far.
