Sales of Dragon Age The Veilguard and Silent Hill 2 Remake are very similar

Dragon Age The Veilguard and Silent Hill 2 Remake were highly anticipated projects but, apparently, they are not selling as fast as one might expect.\r\nAs Chris Dring of Games Industry reports on social networks, launch sales of both titles were relatively low in Europe, according to GSD data.\r\nThe new chapter in the Dragon Age series (you can find it on Amazon) reached seventh place in the ranking of the best-selling games in Europe in October. However, its sales are 18% lower than Dragon’s Dogma 2 and 21% lower than Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.\r\nThe Bioware title was poorly received in general as, among other things, it was a flop also at The Game Awards 2024 with very few nominations.\r\nThe desire of the new Bioware to return to the glories of the past was of no use, given that on balance the production was not able to satisfy the fans’ expectations.\r\nIf for Dragon Age The Veilguard such a weak result was unfortunately predictable, given the controversy generated by the title and in general a not very high quality of BioWare production, for Silent Hill 2 Remake it is strange to see such a reception lukewarm in comparison.\r\nThe remake of Konami’s legendary survival horror placed sixth in the same ranking, just above Dragon Age The Veilguard. However, its launch sales are 57% lower than those of the Resident Evil 4 remake and 31% lower than the Dead Space remake, both released last year.\r\nIt seems that gamers didn’t want it that way so much going back to Silent Hill, after all. Although the title has been loved and well rated in general, sales have not followed this positive reception.\r\nSpeaking of Silent Hill 2 Remake, on the other hand, the developers are also working on the patch for PS5 Pro.
