According to a rumor appeared on the forum ResetEra, the next title in the Pokémon series coming to Nintendo Switch would be a complete reboot.

The indiscretion comes from China and more precisely from the same source that revealed some details about the game last January. Even in that case it was not possible to verify the leaked information.

This said, as noted on the forum, it is not the first case of a rumor that speaks of possible restart for the franchise during the debut on Switch.

Considering that it would be the first chapter of the main vein to arrive on a home console, however hybrid, it would not cause any particular surprise.
