Richard Marks, co-designer of PlayStation VR, leaves Sony for Google

Big changes for Richard Marks, who worked in Sony since 1999 and who, among many projects, was also co-author of PlayStation VR, the headset for the virtual reality of the Japanese company. As announced on Twitter by Phil Harrison, also former Sony and former Microsoft, now in Google, Marks joins the Advanced Technology and Projects team of Google, which deals with cutting-edge projects â € “including the mysterious console so far for video games of the Mountain View giant.

In Sont, Marks had also worked on PlayStation Move and EyeToy, focusing primarily on experimental devices. We wish him, of course, a good job for his new adventure in Google!
