The release date of Resident Evil Village is approaching: the title Capcom is expected in stores between a a few days (more precisely May 7) and the hype starts to rise.
The eighth chapter of the saga promises to correct and expand the ideas of the previous Resident Evil 7 , so much so that the first two demos released by the developer allowed us to get an idea.
Both the Village and the Castle demo have in fact allowed fans of the franchise to preview the next Capcom title.
Now, the guys from Digital Foundry have had the opportunity to preliminarily analyze the Xbox Series X | S version of the new Biohazard , making a first comparison with the PlayStation 5 counterpart.
From what you can tell from the video, Xbox Series X goes at 60 frames per second with some sporadic drop , although it suffers less than the PS5 edition. p>
With active ray tracing, the Xbox platform version appears to offer slightly higher performance than the Sony console edition.
It remains to be seen if these differences concern only and exclusively the demos, considering that only with the full version in stores will we be able to make all the comparisons of the case.
